When Ethan put out the thought of joining Team Rocket for the money, Lyra was dubious. Mostly because she'd dealt with them before a little and they weren't no good. They were scrubs.
And yet she found herself caught up in this mess because she wanted to keep her childhood friend out of trouble.
Lyra is steadfast in her dedication to keeping Ethan and his stolen starter safe from other Rockets, Silver, and especially the police. Crocket, her Croconaw, goes with whatever his trainer pleases and doesn't particularly mind the Rocket moral compass. Glocket, her Gloom, was issued to her by her higher up Ariana.
(Seriously, of all the Executives to get... Lyra can only curse her luck.)
